Submersible clean-water pumps: Informations

One of the very particular features of submersible clean-water pumps is their shallow-suction capability which leaves surfaces ready to be wiped off. A pressure as low as 0.5 bar will be sufficient for the operation of a garden shower.

Owing to their compact design, the vertical pump outlet and the suspension cable coming with them submersible drainage pumps are especially designed for use in narrow drainage shafts. This type of pump is equipped with an integrated float switch which gives you the choice between automatic or manual operation.

The ESTAL product line consists of particularly high-quality pumps with water-cooled motor, self-lubricating high-precision ball bearings and stainless steel housing. With their top-level technical properties and their special design, these pumps meet the highest demands in the range of top-class pumping equipment. This means, for instance, that the temperature of the fluids being carried may be as high as 50° C, with short-term peaks of even up to 90° C being admissible.

Our submersible pumps are suitable for mobile use or stationary installation. For stationary installation, we recommend the provision of a check valve to prevent the pumps from being damaged by pressure surges.

Please note that the pumps' performance will be affected by an insufficient hose diameter. We recommend a min. diameter of  ¾". The adapter coming with the pumps enables diameters of  ¾", 1" or 1¼" to be connected.

When installing pipelines, please make sure that they are absolutely tight. Leaking pipelines will restrict the capacity of the bumps considerably and are one of the major causes of malfunction.

All submersible pumps are equipped with a float switch which enable the pumps to be operated in automatic mode. Moreover, it acts as an anti dry-run protection: by switching off in due time in the absence of water or in case of dry running, damage by overheating is prevented.
